Giant gums in Venice, an old installation titled ‘Chewing in Venice’ by Frankfurt-based artist Simone Decker. The installation is reminiscent of works by Claes Oldenburg as they both take banal everyday items and blows them out of proportion to interrogate the meaning of art, everyday life, and the perceptions of the viewers.
